AI designing flexes a completely different creative muscle where concepts from your mind are translated through word prompts as the medium. It’s a fascinating journey both fun and frustrating. It feels like I’m using an entirely new part of my brain.
When I was a little girl, I used to draw on the back of the church pamphlets on Sundays during the sermons. I had two subjects mostly that I was constantly designing: dresses, and cakes. I always wanted to be a fashion designer, but never had the skills to create what was in my mind. Creating this series of futuristic women was so addictive and fun, but it also made me crave using my hands to create something. The AI process has revealed such a different satisfaction in designing with word inputs than with a physical hand movement.
It will be interesting to see how design evolves through this newly accessible medium… what are your thoughts on AI?
